Michael has worked on several short films for organisations such as the BBC, Ffilm Cymru, the Iris Prize and Welsh National Opera. He provided a song and underscore for the production Time & Again, directed by Rachel Dax and starring Dame Sian Phillips. It won the People’s Choice Award at Outfest in LA. He recently completed his first feature film, Hiraeth, which stars Colin Baker.

He studied orchestration at Thinkspace Education under Sam Watts and Norman Ludwin.
